Hotel-Retail development stopped in 2008, but now major players are considering adding substantial hotel elements to shopping malls. There is a substantial increase in retail sales when the right hotel is added to a retail center--between 20% and 40%. Additionally, retail increases boosts the revenue per available room for the hotel (over other hotels in the same market). Attend this event and find out strategies for successful hotel and retail projects.

  2. Retail is returning to hotels because it makes good sense that people will want to do some shopping when they are traveling. It is a wise move to see retail returning to these venues.
