You're Invited: 2/1/13 Transit Corridors Cabinet Panel at Move LA Annual Transportation Conversation

The City of Los Angeles's Transit Corridors Cabinet would like to invite you to a presentation and panel discussion on the future of the City's Transit Corridors as part of Move LA's 5th Annual Transportation Conversation

WHEN: 1:00pm on February 1st, 2013
WHERE: Los Angeles Union Station Historic Ticketing Room, 800 N. Alameda St., Los Angeles, CA 90012

The Transit Corridors Cabinet leadership will give a presentation on the City's draft "work plan"* of action items the City is currently considering under the goals of improving LA's orientation to our expanding mass transit network, and creating a more livable city for all Angelenos.

Following this presentation, participating General Managers from City Departments will engage in a discussion with transit orientation experts and the general public about how the City can best encourage vibrant, prosperous, and affordable communities along our Transit Corridors.

Move LA has graciously waived their entry fee for the afternoon session, which will run from 1:00 until 3pm and includes an address from international Transit Orientation expert Robert Cervero of UC Berkeley.

The day-long forum includes addresses and panel discussions on accelerating Transit & Community Building in Los Angeles, with such speakers and panelists as  Darrell Steinberg, Maria-Elena Durazo, Art Leahy, and more!
General Admission is $75.00 and student, non-profit, and government rate is $25.00.

*The Transit Corridors Cabinet will be releasing its Draft Work Plan in advance of this forum--stay tuned! Even if you cannot attend the discussion on February 1st, we look forward to hearing from you on the action items that will be outlined in the draft plan.
